KS Export is a family-owned business with deep roots in Nepal, proudly crafting and exporting authentic handmade Nepali products since 1991. Founded by Mr. Kanhaiya Shah in Kathmandu, KS Export brings over three decades of expertise in creating unique, bohemian-inspired items made with pure natural materials like cotton, linen, wool, and hemp.

Our Founder
Mr. Kanhaiya Shah founded KS Export in April 1991 with a vision to create jobs in his community and introduce the world to Nepal’s rich handicraft traditions. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication have driven the company’s success for more than 36 years.
In August 2008, Mr. Shah earned international recognition by winning the Best Dress Under Best Booth Award at the Magic Expo held at the Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada— making him one of the first Nepali artisans to showcase and be awarded on such a prestigious platform.
Today, Mr. Shah continues to lead KS Export with passion and commitment, also serving as the Joint Treasurer of the Export Council of Nepal (ECON). The company is proudly registered with the Handicraft Association of Nepal.
